Amesbury Furniture Outlet is a family owned and operated business that was first established in 2002 by Bob Carey and his wife Robin Carey. Not long after, their son Bob Jr joined the team after graduating from Roger Williams University with a degree in Business Management. Around 2014, Bob and Robin's oldest daughter Pam also joined the team. As a family, we understand the importance of taking care of our customers from start to finish. This means that when you come to our furniture showroom you will be welcomed by one of us and we will be there through every step of the process. Our goal is to make all of our customers feel comfortable and satisfied with not only the furniture that they purchase but also the whole furniture shopping experience with us. We started in a small back section of our current building selling all Amesbury Chair factory seconds and discontinued kitchen, dining room and bedroom furniture. In 2004, we moved into the front of the building we are currently in which doubled our showroom space. Our current showroom consists of over 15,000 square feet of display areas. Amesbury Chair closed its doors and retired in 2022, but Amesbury Furniture Outlet has continued to grow, expand and flourish.
Our product line has expanded greatly since our start. We carry the entire line of John Thomas Furniture products ranging from small kitchen sets, kitchen pedestal and farm leg tables, dining room sets, pub tables, counter-stools, hutches, servers/buffets, bedroom sets, platform beds and much more. We also became an exclusive “BEST Home Furnishings” Custom Concepts GOLD retail store. Our BEST Home Furnishings line includes Stationary Sofas and Loveseats, Reclining Sofas and Loveseats, Sectionals, recliners, club chairs, accent chairs, power lift recliners, upholstered dining chairs, 24” and 30” stools and much more. All BEST upholstery products can be ordered in a variety of over 600 different fabrics and leathers. We also carry a variety of coffee tables, end tables, accent tables and sofa/hall tables that are custom-finished in North Carolina. In 2020, we added a beautiful line of platform bedroom furniture by Night & Day Furniture which is manufactured by reputable factories in Vietnam, Malaysia and Thailand and distributed throughout the U.S. Finally, we are excited to have partnered with Therapedic Mattress in 2024 to bring a wonderful, locally-made, extensive line of mattresses produced right out of Massachusetts for our customers. Therapedic offers top of the line mattresses using the best domestically sourced materials in the industry. Therapedic has also given us access to adjustable frames to enhance our customer sleep experience.
